On Friday afternoon we had musical performances presented by Pielisjoki school's music classes. Every host and guest gathered into gym hall to listen to them. Students presented
songs like: I see fire, We are the World and Let her go.
Later, in the afternoon, we had a tour around our city, Joensuu. We split into several groups, walked around the city, and watched important monuments of Joensuu, like the building of Metla and the gringerbread house. We students acted as guides.

After those walks we got together with the whole group into the Polarbear-cottage, a place where people go ice swimming in winter. Host students brought little snack with them, so we had plenty of food there. In the cottage we had some games, music and everyone had a possibility to swim and try sauna.

Thursday 8th May

In the first morning we met at Carelicum. We listened to a presentation about education in Joensuu by Mauno Väänänen, Director of Education in Joensuu. Then the students presented their own countries and told something about employment in their country. There was a fifteen-minute break between those presentations when students were able to chat with each other.
